VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, hands–on manager with the proven ability to lead in a changing environment. The position available is VP of Finance located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This individual will be charged with ensuring the efficient and effective operations of Carolina Trust’s financial management activities, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, investments, asset liability management, strategic planning and goal achievement, compliance, Information Technology, and product development. This successful financial leader should be decisive, show initiative, and have a strong accounting background. This individual reports directly to the President/CEO and will play a critical role on the executive leadership team.

DIRECTOR OF MEMBER SERVICES

SC-based trade association seeks an individual to coordinate member services. Qualified candidates should be self directed with excellent communication and presentation skills. COLLECTION SUPERVISOR

Sharonview Federal Credit Union seeks a Collection Supervisor. This person directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in collections on delinquent loans and ODP to ensure that the collection operation is conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the credit union's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and recognition of performance, monitoring staff performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Developing an engaged, knowledgeable staff that understands our commitment to unparalleled service to members and colleagues.
  2. Assigning workers daily responsibility, monitoring workloads, schedules and PTO.
  3. Establishing loan work out plans, modifications and extensions on accounts based on standard policy. Working with lending staff as needed.
  4. Maintaining awareness of changes in the collection field, including government regulation, technological advancements in collection tools, collector needs and preferences.
  5. Monitoring systems [e.g. Top Notch, CUBE, Certegy, etc.] performance for accuracy of transactions, account information and payment processing related to collection activity.
  6. Preparing reports on delinquent accounts, losses and recoveries as requested by Management for the Asset Liability Management Committee [ALCO] for approval of charge-offs
  7. Researching problems or complaints related to member's accounts or staff actions to ensure members have every opportunity to honor loan obligations within a reasonable term and payment schedule.
  8. Coordinating repossessions and the disposal of recovered assets via repossession companies and auctions
  9. Preparing and monitoring watch list of delinquent accounts. Assist ing collectors with determination of uncollectible accounts
  10. Assisting collectors with problem accounts.
  11. Performing other duties and accountabilities as management may from time to time assign.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from accredited four-year college or university and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications, including spreadsheet software [e.g. MS Excel] and MS Outlook.
  • Professional demeanor in difficult and stressful situations.
  • Ability to work well with people and to create a self-motivating work environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically.
