This year there will be one scholarship available through the Edward L. Bateman Memorial Fund, covering early-bird registration fee valued at $1295.00 (registration prior to May 2, 2010). This scholarship is only valid for Part 1 of the school (CUNA Marketing Management School details).

Southeast CUNA Management School (SRCUS)

Three SRCUS scholarships are available and are provided by SCCUL, the South Carolina Credit Union Management Association (SCCUMA), and the Southeast CUNA Management School (SRCUS). Each scholarship covers early-bird registration of $1345.00 (registration prior to May 13, 2010). For more on SRCUS, see the brochure.

Award Procedure

The scholarship award procedure is designed to assist to the most worthy student. A “Points Guideline” is used, awarding points for each applicant’s contributions to the credit union movement and years in the credit union movement. Preference is given to individuals in management and/or professional marketing positions. Need based on key credit union financial ratios is also a factor.

Submit applications (may be duplicated) with requested support information--including a copy of the CU's year-end financial statement--to Barbara Lehew-Bickley by April 1. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 15. Credit unions receiving scholarship assistance will be reimbursed the amount of the early-bird tuition. Forms may be duplicated as needed.

Anyone planning to register for a school should submit appropriate fees to the school to ensure their seat and make room reservations early with the conference hotels. Room reservations and expenses are the responsibility of each student/credit union.
